My mind wanted to talk about so many different things when I started writing this post. Sometimes, I really have to reign myself in from getting too philosophical, but I like to tell myself that’s why you all love me. 😉
It’s such a gift to be able to document the life of a family, especially when I’ve had the privilege of photographing the engagement session and wedding of my clients. Mark and Lithesha have always been favorites of mine, because they’re so down to earth and genuinely friendly people to work with. Lithesha and I have texted back and forth about parenting and all sorts of things when her little man was born. I still remember their wedding theme was “a touch of Paris,” and TO THIS DAY, any time I see Eiffel Tower decor, it reminds me of Lithesha. Haha!
I was really excited when we started planning their adorable son’s first birthday photo session, because it was my first time getting to meet this handsome little fellow! He has the most adorable expressions, and it was so much fun playing with him.
But I think what I loved most about this session was seeing how Mark and Lithesha interacted with him. There is so much love in these images, and I love that my images will be the reminder of that for years and years to come. Here are my favorites from their session.
